You can search for academic job ads on the AHA web site if you are a member of the association and know your username and password. It does not cost anything to search for history faculty jobs on the H-Net web site. Openings for history faculty can be searched for free at the Chronicle of Higher Education web site. The OAH offers a smaller listing of jobs, at no cost, on its web site. HigherEdJobs.com offers a freely searchable list of history faculty jobs. You can browse job ads at the Insidehighered.com web site without paying anything.
