This seems to be the generally accepted terms for the play area, so only seems right to add one.
When you click on the Edit page option, you should see a bar to the right with details of the formatting syntax and a link to the manual at
http://www.gebogebo.org/wiki/manualIf something appears in green then it's a link to a page that exists, if it appears in red then it's a link that doesn't exist yet (no, don't choose the red link and add a page, I'll just have to delete it). Another navigation tip is that if you click on the page name up above in square brackets it gives you a "where used" function which can be useful.
Files can be uploaded by first adding the link which will initially be a broken link, then when you go into edit the page and define the link you get an option to upload a file. Image names need to be unique it seems. I've used it succefully to get the avalon title on the start page.
For table help, see

ah okay, non-proportional font, might be useful for tables if I can't get the tables working properly. Actually the more I see this the more I like it, think i'll use it for the templates for text copied from the game
_not sure if I like the idea of underscores, can be confusing if people are used to browers where underscores mean a hyperlink
