RGB Matrix

RGB stands for Red/Green/Blue and messes with the colors of the image. I
don't know enough about color manipulation to say exactly how it works,
but it comes with a few useful presets. Choose "Sepia" under Predefined
and apply it to the whole map (not just one sheet). You'll get a very nice
effect of aged paper. You'll get a little more info in the help file
entry, but it is very technical and I don't understand all of it.

Spatial Matrix Process

According to the help file, this does things linke blurs, displacements,
etc. But the entry format is so-much Mandarin to me. I've seen it used on
WALLS in dungeon maps and on the LAND sheet on the standard CC3 maps, but
since it is a pixel-based effect and it varies with zoom-level, I don't
like it very much. I haven't used it in my maps.

Texture Overblend

This applys a texture (a bitmap image) to the objects on the sheet and
fades it towards the edges. Very handy to create bitmap fills with
actually using bitmaps in the drawing. To try it, create a new sheet (on a
dungeon floorplan for example) just above the background sheet, and draw a
few simply polys or smooth polys on it. Use solid fill style and any
color. Then add a texture overblend effect to that sheet and choose a
bitmap from the /bitmaps/tiles/dungeons/cc3/ folder. You'll see what
happens.
