There's a bug which appears at some point where destruction of cash carrying aliens causes your ship to disappear and the cash to turn white.

Yes I mean armour repair. I think it's pretty fundamental equipment. It's exciting to get low on shield then wait for it recharge, Halo style.

The whole power up reduce thing usually results in you being completely powerless once you've got to a level where you've built power up and die.

Hmm. Okay, I'll give that benefit of doubt for now. I'll judge it when I play it. Just now I've been playing on Earth for quite a while before dying anyway.
Also you need to afford the player a brief period of invulnerability when they die and come back. Too often have I appeared and not had a chance to save myself due to so many bullets whizzing in my direction.

I quite like the race to pick up the cash drops actually. Perhaps just generally cheaper equipment or equipment with a bigger effect. It amounts to pretty much the same thing in the end.
I also feel that things get reduced a bit much when you finally get to twin shot. You get such a poor rate of fire at that point and so much power drain. It seems a bit harsh.
It's like "ooh I have an exciting new weapon!" but then you start shooting and it's "Oh this is a bit slow and crap." Needs a bit more pizazz.

So how about either: a) Money stays on screen but devalues, so you have to race to it to get the big money. Or b) Money ignores gravity and floats around randomly. ?
I like the money floating up the screen and the background for the moon. However there seemed to be a bug on the moon one where the money floats up from a position way below the screen.

Played for a long time on earth but it didn't manifest itself. Possibly moon only? Will investigate further mysself.
Allow players to catch all money falling before the shop appears.

Good. Even after money pick up give it a couple of seconds I feel. Just feels better that way. Or how about a shop icon to fly into?

Innertia makes it hard to shoot things down. Innertia dampers a possible add on?

Mainly just non Earth levels actually. Speed/Innertia dampers could probably be a good idea for the shop. I mean it's still possible to kill things but more accurate positioning is better.
