The first part of the story was written when I was a miserable 19-year-old and liked to wander around the streets of Leeds at night wearing a black raincoat with a loaded BB pistol in the inside pocket.
Basically a rant about how much I hated everything and how cool it would be to be invincible. I guess in other gothy teenagers, this fantasy would manifest itself as 'vampire wanabee-ism', but I hated that kind of scene. I liked Bladerunner.
The Diary - Days 1 to 5
The second part was written in bits over the next few years, the content mostly taken from dreams I had. Vecchi was basically the anti-hero I wished I could be.
I like some of the imagery, but it's still mostly me being really mopey.

'Chapter Two' is all the Welcome to Jhenge material I had, and I decided to concatenate the two stories together.
Welcome To Jhenge
Blacky reminds me now of Philip K. Dick's female characters.
The idea seems to be that she suffered some kind of trauma, resulting in a disassociative personality disorder. The 'strong' personality emerged to help her cope with the trauma, but also appears to be psychotic.
However, another theory is that Blacky is actually a disassosiative personality of Vecchi and does not exist externally.
Red came about because I was fed up of the Lara Croft style heroine popular these days.
Rachael Hiyatona is my Lara Croft style heroine. (D'Oh!) She's actually based on a Deunan Knute style of character.
Fluffy Dice. Another Jhenge story I started but forgot about.
