Moatsville is a city located on the eastern edge of the Black Swamp.

The Capital of Decadence
It is sometimes called the Capital of Decadence due to the igh amounts of crime, gambling, drinking and other vices. Moatsville is home of some of the most ruthless persons in all of the Wasteland. Since the war ended, the city turned into a safe haven for criminals and other dubious elements of society. In Moatsville only three things will get you anywhere: sex, money or force. The city is a vertable snake pit, outlanders are usually killed or robbed within a few hours in the dark alleys.

History
Moatsville was founded by deserters from the Federate Army who needed a hiding place. The loose camp attracted many refugees, refugees of the worst kind. In a short period of time the dirty camp had become a settlement, a gathering point for brigands, marauders, deserters, outlaws and the various scum of society. Moatsville's role in the war was not big, both sides in the conflict shunned the area although the Federation sometimes sent units there to conscript soldiers against their will. After the war ended, Moatsville attracted even more refugees and is now a regular city.

Geography
Moatsville is situated on the easters shore of the Black Swamp, with a port sticking out into the dark waters. To the north, south and east lie the Outer Realms, Moatsville is the easternmost settlement in all of the wasteland.
