I would like to have an option to disable the new captcha functionallity.
We have a password protected wiki an there is absolutly no need of a captcha in there, instead it's very anoying now, because we have to change the content of the wiki very often.

Your wish is our order! We made the captcha controllable.
By default it is enabled in every wiki, but you can disable it by unticking the
checkbox in your wikis configuration (below "Anonymous edit")

02-04-07:
I would like to be able to set my own licence for the content on my wiki, instead of being forced to use the Creative Commons licence. The CC licence may fit some wikis but does not fit mine.
For example : why would a professional author publish something in a wiki, instead of in a real book, given that if they publish it on a CC-licenced wiki, anyone can freely copy it and they lose their ability to assert copyright?
Collaboration is good and should be encouraged, but professional authors should be able to use wikis too - they produce some of the best content and it is completely unrealistic to expect them to put their work under the Creative Commons Licence.
19-2-06:
I want to use Chinese character as a page name. But when I click on the red internal link 中文, it goes to the first page (gebo.prg?name=&_20013_&_25991_).
Wikipedia uses three "%two hexadecimal digit" for the each unicode character of a page name. For example, %E4%B8%AD%E6%96%87 represents the page 中文. I hope gebogebo has this feature too.

Is it possible to make a backup of my pages in case of a disaster? I have quite a bit of info stored on the site now?

if we all have 100 megs (or is that for the total of every?),
i think there should be a way to upload pics. i would love to use
this site as a personal journaling of my peace corps service, but
i dont want to bother with a flickr accnt and a wiki accnt

You can upload files and images! See
gebogebo>manual:syntax for the {{img: tags.im still a bit confused. i saw how to use links to images, but how do i upload to wikihost?
Create a link to an img:-tagged page as this: {{img:mynewimage-page}} - There you just have to "Edit" the page. It then appears the upload form. (Thomas)
you are a genius. thanks for the help.
I like the look of this wiki in general.
I just thought that the logo for eternal links is not so nice.
It is quite massive and jumps out of the line like this:
external linkIt also creates an uneven linespace.
I would wish that another icon, smaller and a bit more elegant would be introduced.
thanks
You're not the first complaining about the icon for external link. We'll look for a better matching one. (Thomas)
Its already much better now. thx. I anyway have asked a graphic designer friend to make a suggestion, if he comes up with something I will post it here for evaluation. (Oliver)

What about being able to change the color scheme of the wiki?
Also, I'd like a way to rename and delete uploaded images.
And using div style="border: 2px solid rgb(102, 17, 51); margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding-bottom: 1em; padding-top: 0em; background-color:#FFFCE5;" like html(Add < and > around the html), I create this:
<div style="border: 2px solid rgb(102, 17, 51); margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em; padding-bottom: 1em; padding-top: 0em; background-color:#FFFCE5;">
</div>
Is there a way to add a background image(I know you can do colors)? If not, could this feature be added? I find plain colors to be rather... boring. :P
~Kulthran~
Is there any way to do this?
I'd like to be able to lock some pages, such as the start page, to prevent editing by other users, but leave the rest of the wiki open.

I would like to be able to include some basic html for scripts on my start page.
You need to seperate the ads from content more. I have seen so many Wikis here that have text missing due to Google ads covering it up, in any resolution.
Can you add the option of having word wrap in content editor.
